Default Has anyone installed a g-load bar?

I will probally be pulling my engine in the coming weeks and while it's out and being machined I will be cleaning and detailing the engine bay, repairing a bit o' rust I found and such stuff. During this time while the engine is out, I am considering installing a g-load bar. I see that HPM makes two different types, a 2pt and a 4pt. Any of you have one? It seems like a good idea, what are ya'll's thoughts on this?
I am also considering sub-fram connectors and a strut tower brace.

It's a 1979 5.0 Mustang Hatchback.

Got it all as a package STB, G-brace, subframes.

Its "supposed" to help. For the 5# weight, and the ease of install, cant really go wrong...

I saw the Tublar K-Member in the Dallas Mustang cataloge. I thought it was more then I wanted to spend, for just right now. You mentioned that the full length headers didn't clear the g-load bar. That's not to good, as full length headers are on my planned purchased list. Any suggestions?

Yeah, dont get one!

Or build something yourself that hangs WAY low and goes around them. Not for me thanks, as ground clearance is already an issue.
