![]() I will probally be pulling my engine in the coming weeks and while it's out and being machined I will be cleaning and detailing the engine bay, repairing a bit o' rust I found and such stuff. During this time while the engine is out, I am considering installing a g-load bar. I see that HPM makes two different types, a 2pt and a 4pt. Any of you have one? It seems like a good idea, what are ya'll's thoughts on this?
I am also considering sub-fram connectors and a strut tower brace. It's a 1979 5.0 Mustang Hatchback. |

![]() Got it all as a package STB, G-brace, subframes.
Its "supposed" to help. For the 5# weight, and the ease of install, cant really go wrong...

![]() I saw the Tublar K-Member in the Dallas Mustang cataloge. I thought it was more then I wanted to spend, for just right now. You mentioned that the full length headers didn't clear the g-load bar. That's not to good, as full length headers are on my planned purchased list. Any suggestions?

![]() Or build something yourself that hangs WAY low and goes around them. Not for me thanks, as ground clearance is already an issue.
