I believe the only heads that will work on the GT-40P heads, you need to get the FRPP headers, I don't think any others will fit. You may be able to use some Explorer headers, since I believe they came with those heads at one time, but i could be wrong on that.

As for power and how well the explorer intake flow I have no idea. I doubt its much better then the stock 5.0 intake.

Most performance shops can get them. DaSilva Racing in T.O can, RCO & Perfromance Unlimited in London aswell.

PM me where you're from and I could probably give ya more places. All else fails if you have a SVT dealer near you then they can probably get them as well.

FRPP= Ford Racing Performance Parts

The part number should be M-9430-P50, thats out of my older FRPP catalog.

FRPP makes headers as well as MAC. I'd go with the FRPP headers myself. I'm getting ready to switch over cause the MAC headers are garbage. The explorer intake flows almost as well as a cobra intake. It's really a nice little combo. Here's a link for the mods you have to do to the intake.

www.mustangsunlimited.com Has the gt40p specific headers for about $225, I also heard you can use MAC or BBK's and just do a little banging to get the plugs to clear, as for the explorer intake , if your on a budget and cant afford much else it works great.

So a set of MAC 1-5/8 equal length headers wouldnt work? I just got a new set and I've been eyeing some gt-40p heads on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33617

They seem to look legit for all I can tell. The gt-40's are the best head for a stock shortblock, right? The shortblock is about the only stock thing on the car at this point apart from the seats
