Detonation
What does Detonation sound like. I bumped my timing up to 16 and took it for a spin. When I drive the car normal the engine sounds fine, but when I floor it I can hear a slight pinging noise coming from the engine area, almost sounds like a quiet rattle. Is this detonation?
Before I bumped the timing, I could floor pedal and the engine would sound fine at higher rpms.
