				 |  5,0 swap Hey guys great site question I have a 92 with the 2.3 just bought an 85 gt with an 86 set up and carbureted any advice befor I go a head and tackle this swap |

				 |   86 is the "WORST" 302" ENGINE  of the roller engines. Try to find a 87-92 5.0HO if your looking for a good swap. 93-95 have garbage pistons just incase you plan to use any power adder.

				 |   With the 86 engine, you can't just add some good heads and a cam.  Because you will either be wasting your money or tearing it down just to notch the pistons.  The reason I say you will be wasting your money is IMO , anything that you can get to work with the stock bottom end, won't yield enough extra power.

				 |  86 motor According to the owner this motor has 85 heads on it that have been port and polished and a 3 angle vale job and some thing else but I can remember off hand |
