Leaky Injectors
Ok I have a problem with my stock 19# injectors on my 90gt, My OEM's started leaking so I went to the junk yard about a year ago and got some replacements now there leaking but my car is being driven soon about a hour away to my freinds shop to get my new engine in with new injectors waiting for me before I goto the junk yard and get some junkers to make the drive up there I wanted to know if theres a way I can maybe silicone or use some sorta sealent just to get me to the shop, its going to be about a hour of highway driving and I just need to get there once on the way home I'll have my new engine and injectors, any suggestions would help. Ive heard O rings but if im gonna do those as mine as well spend the extra $12 at the junk yard and just some injectors any suggestions would help.

Re: Leaky Injectors
Check and make sure the bolts that old the fuel rails down are tight.
Go to the parts store and get some NEW O-rings for your injectors

Re: Leaky Injectors
I know of no way to stop the leak without buying new O-rings. Do you have any friends with a rollback or car trailer?
Also, if your an AAA plus member, they may pick it up for you and tow it to the shop for free, it's worth looking into anyway. I hope that helps. G |
