Hooker makes a set of 13/4 full lentgh, bought ours thru jeg's I believe. Fit a C4 in a 90 Lxwith stock crossmember, Passenger side is tight but fits. fit easier after out in a tubular K Member

It's the width, dude. A C4 transmission usually isn't a worry, but a fat mama AOD? Yeah, trust me, most full-length headers are NOT going to fit. I found this out the hard way, too. There is always kooks headers. They are custom made and cost an arm and a leg, but they fit and they work. While I don't personally have a set (I wussied out and went with shortie headers), I've heard the quality is excellent. Google it to get the web site URL.

BTW, the part where the interference occurs is right at the height where the pan is. On my installation, the collectors bumped up into the sides of the pan. Since I'm both lazy and reluctant to cut & weld tubing, I just borrowed a friend's shorties. FWIW, it's not like there's a HUGE difference between the two, anyway. Best of all, your HEGO sensors will be right where they were intended to be, instead of another ten inches downstream. Read that as: better mileage, power, and a/f control.

i`m not goign to run either c-4 or an aod , how much did they interfere witht he pan (1/2 ) or what , do you think it could be done? Hooker super comps say they will work but ah and extra 100 over the bbk`s like damn no matter what you can`t save a penny if ya wanna do it right

Okay, then what ARE you running? The full-lengths will fit (albeit snugly) with a C4 (at least they did on my '79 Capri), but are a no-way-in-hell fit for an AOD. Regarding how full-lengths fit with any other transmission, I haven't a clue. Mind you, this was a set of full-length BBK's I was trying to fit.

Spend the extra money. You'll be sorry if you don't.

sorry i ment to ask if those bbk`s will fit a a c-6 , but i was thinking it not really that big of a deal when a person can just heat them up with a torch and give them a heev and ho to bend them out away from the tranny pan if thats the problem simple fix and if worst comes to worst i have to badn them out so far that i crack/ break the chrome plating all around the bend and have to spring for them to be ceramic coated , if there is more than pan issues i will just say screw it and buy a kit and build them i just wanted something quick and didn`t have to screw around with for a day lol
