Default Slave Cylinder help

Hi, I am in the process of putting in a new transmission , drive shaft, and a few other things on my 88 GT. This may be a dumb question but I cant seem to locate the slave cylinder, if im looking tword the engine would it be the on the right of the bellhousing? Also, Ive put in a new clutch cable and hooked my pedal back up to it, in my manual it states that you must hook the pedal back up to the pushrod, when I took the pedal off I unhooked some electrical device that activated with the pedal and took the nut off. I dont see a pushrod, I simply hooked the cable back to the quadrant and put the pedal on the shaft then secured it with the nut, am I doing somthing wrong? Thanks in advanced for any help

That electrical device the neutral safety switch. Your car doesn't have a hydraulic clutch so there is no slave cylinder. Don't pay any attention to that. Just put it back like you took it off, you will be fine. What book is that you are reading anyway?

Way better. Get a Chilton's. They have them at O'Reilly auto parts. IMO, Haynes sucks!!
