Default How do I know the right SPRING RATE for my car?

Does anyone know how to choose the spring rate for Coil Over struts. Kits offer 175 all the way to 600 LBS. I need them for Drag Racing but I don't know what would be the spring rate needed for my drag car. I have a 1993 notch with a total weight of 3150 with driver.
