Hi, first time poster. Im glad sites like these exist. I do not know what is wrong with my car. I was thinking it was the throttle cable at first but I was looking and saw it was still connected to the gas peddle. I went under the hood and I found that the throttle body seems frozen in place. Is there a way to break it free or could it still be my cable?
I have a 1987 5.0 |

Take the air induction tube off and spray soem carb cleaner into teh throttle body, you can hold it pen and take a rag to wipe out the build up. They do collect a gunk right where the throttle plate touches and need to be cleaned out on occasion.
