Question

well i want to go a few steps colder because after i backed my timing down on the dyno (for some reason this gave me 12 extra horses) my car has been suffering from pre-ignition/ dieseling when i shut it off... i leaned out the idle a little bit too so i know thats part of my problem, but i was hoping that with a little colder plug my chambers would cool a little quicker... my problem only happens on a hot day, or on a real hard/hot run... what do you guys think?

by leaning out the idle i know its heating the chambers up more, and by backing down the timing i moved the heat closer to my exhaust valves, causeing the pre-ignition issue... right???
