Question smog pump?

i asked a question about some pulleys last night but i forgot to ask about eliminating my smog with a shorter belt. have any of you guys done this and if so have you had any engine problems. thanks for the info

You won't gain anything at all; if you're that desperate for 1-2 hp, you're in the wrong ballgame dude. Leave it on and avoid converter failure, plus an occasional code or two.

dont have converters, u think the pump is bad anyways so i think i will just eliminate it, pretty sure that will cause the good ol check engine light to start firing off

Got rid of mine, have yet to see the check engine light, or any codes
