Post SN95 MAC Intake Elbow

Dont get one guys. I thought Mac was known for decent parts at a decent price but this thing looks like **** . The aluminum looks poor, its not smooth on the inside. Its rather rough and bumpy actualy. The edges have HUGE burrs on them that Im going to have to clean up with a dremel.

The Ford Racing elbow apears to be much better. The Mac is only ten dollars cheaper anyway and they make you pay for shipping unlike summit.

I agree!!! I bought that MAC P.O.S. elbow adapter and its junk. Exactly as you stated the casting is rough and porous. The fr*ggn' thing doesn't have the threaded hole for the vacuum fitting and its just butt ugly. I wasted my money on that spongy casting and then ordered a real one from Edelbrock (much nicer) and it comes complete with hardware and gaskets for like maybe $10 bucks more than that MAC thing. Don't get me wrong about MAC. Their exhaust system products are O.K., but I'm a little skeptical about their cast aluminum stuff. I got their diff cover and it looks like swiss cheese or something!

LOL, swiss cheese is right. The inside of this thing looks like a goddamn GOLF BALL. And its not cheap either. Its only ten bucks cheaper than the competition, but by the time you pay tax and the eight dollar shipping it doesnt make a difference. It makes me wonder what their discount intake manifold is going to look like
