Sn95 seats in a foxbody......

Do they bolt in? i bet they are quite comfortable, has anyone tried this? i wouldnt mind having some black or red ones, and if so, do they hook up to the connector?

In my previous post, i was just thinking about fox gt seats, now im thinking more comfort.

i don't know if they are a bolt in but with a mod or too if they don't i have modded track's for other type's of seat's that worked out ok , a freind of mine put a late model set of t. a . seat's in a 73 mach we had to do a little bit of rigging but it worked.good luck.

I have 95' seats in my car they are a direct bolt on even if they are electric its easy money and take 5 minutes a seat to rewire it.

Good luck http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif

I met someone at the track the other night that had sn95 seats in a fox body and they look good and yes they were comfortable.

He also said they were a direct bolt in.

Front & back?

I just found a nice set out of a 96 Mustang but didn't know weather or not I could use both the front and the back or just the front. Anyone know?

You can buy Saleens old seats also. I saw a story about it somewhere. They are brand new factory seats that he replaces with Recaros when he builds a Saleen and sells them for $500/pair I think.

When or did they ever improve the factory seats from the crappy fox body style of reclining mechanism? Are the newer SN95 seats reclining mechanism just as crappy?

bigballer811 03-04-2002 03:43 AM

I was wondering how much it would cost to put leather seats into a 95 vert. I would like to put in the two front seats and the back seat too, but i'd settle for just the front two, can anyone give me a price for all that, thanks.

Mach 1 03-04-2002 10:45 AM

depends on what seats you want? Seats vary greatly in price and quality. The used factory seats are the cheapest way to go, new aftermarket ones are fairly expensive.
