Default So close yet so far away.

I was planning on putting my car together this weekend, but I now have other things to tend to. I just got orders to go out to the middle east. I should be there about 6 months or so. The only good thing is that I am going to come back with a butt load of cash. So I think a Novi 2000 will complement my combo nicely when I get back. Just thought I would post this for those of you who were interested in the progress of my car.

Byrne gets on the plane on Monday. He's representing a fine unit over there (my unit too ). I wish you the best of luck and I'm sure you'll do well. If you need someone to look after that 331 for ya, just lemme know

Good luck overseas - remember the ole phrase from the movie Independence day and modify it - up yours osama !

I noticed you've got MAC longtube headers, do you have any problems with the steering linkage rubbing against the left header? I just installed a set on my 88GT and it looks like my steering linkage is slightly rubbing against the header.

Yes best of luck over their. Give em hell for us Canadians too (I know we have a small contingent of troops over in the middle east as well).

Mustang 289 I've got MAC LT's and yes they rub the steering column. Time for a flaming river upgrade.
