Default Soldering 101

I'm getting ready to put my PA-PERFORMANCE 130 amp alternator on and just wanted to make sure I don't screw anything up. I already have the power wire connected, and the three alternator wires are stripped and crimped as per directions. All I have to do is solder each wire onto the ends that were provided.

Is there anything that could go wrong when I'm doing this or is it pretty straight forward?? Also, in the directions, it said hat soldering is not necessary but is recommended for a good electrical connection. Is there any way I can screw this up or am I in the clear??
