solid motor mounts?
 

i have a set of soild motor mounts and was woundering if i should put them in its not a drag car but does see the track 3 4 times a year its not a daily driver. will i twist the front end when i lanch without subframe conectors? or will i be ok

I wouldn't worry about twisting the front end. Although I would recommend subframe connectors, with or without solid motor mounts. The solid motor mounts will increase the vibration and what not that you feel from the engine though. Just something to think about.

Whitepony, I bought a "removable link" from Jeg's for my car last season. It goes between the driver's side of the block, and the frame. Kind of a classy way to do the hillbilly "chain your motor down" thing. Only this one is only there when you want it. Drive around on cushy motor mounts, get to the track, throw a pin and "R" clip in, and presto!

I'm switching to solid motor mounts now, and won't be using it. But when I was, it worked VERY well!

the viberation isnt a problem with me i like it and if its to much i can always take them out agian and put my others back in right !! so iam going to go with them and i ma adding frame con. this winter so it should be all good.

IMHO the frame connectors are FIRST. You will absolutely not believe how much they stiffen up your car. Then I'd worry about the motor mounts. I think you may have the cart ahead of the HORSE (No pun intended! :D ) Motor mounts won't twist the frame because you have no sub connectors, it's the other way around. Put the sub frames in to stiffen the car, then put the motor mounts in to hold that HP down to your stiff chassis bro!

I run Solids in mine. Does not bother me one bit.
