Solid Roller ?
Solid Roller ?
i have built alot of stroker motors in my life, and always a ford guy. i just need someone that can answer a true ? on running a Solid Roller on the street. how long will a solid roller truly last driving on the street around 100 miles a week or so? i have a friend that works at comp cams, and one of the tech's and him drove one of comp's test cars 3000 miles about a month ago. when it was checked everything looked good. I have always ran Hdy/Rollers, and had some verry fast cars. I thought i would try 1 solid roller in this new 427 stroker i built. Lunati said the only thing you would have to keep a check on is the Solid Roller Lifters! to check the rollers on them at the end of a race season. has anyone ran a solid roller on the street much?
