Post AOD diagnosis

My AOD has 24,000 miles on it and has never given me a problem. Recently (3 times within th last 3000 miles) the tranny will slip into neutral when stopped at an uphill intersection. I felt it when I slowed down, the car just slipped out of gear! When I put the tranny in park and returned it to OD, it worked. After this it acts normal. It shifts crisply into every gear and hooks up great off the line. Any suggestions? I leave on a 1400 mile road trip this Friday and can't have any thing go wrong.

Do a fluid and filter change and you ought to be OK. If it continues to do it even after this, I would take it to a reputable tranny shop.
