![]() Its been awhile since I changed mine out but if I recall correctly, the dash speakers are 2 1/2 and the door speakers are either 4 or 5 inch..I wouldnt guarantee this because it was over a year ago when I bought mine.
But I am positive that the rear speakers are 5*7's.. ------------------ 347 Stroker Motor: Balanced, Cobra Transmission, Extrude Ported and Polished Upper and ported Lower, GT40 Milled Ported and Polished Heads, B303 Cam, BBK 1 5/8 Headers, 30lb Bosch Injectors, Holley AFPR, March Underdrive Pulleys, Perma-Cool Fan, 3-Core Radiator, Accel Performance Coil, Accel 300+ Racing Wires, Ram Air, K&N Filter, 73mm Vortech MAF, 70mm TB, FlowMaster Exhaust w/BBK Offroad H-Pipe, Hurst Shifter, 3:55 Gears, Ram Clutch, Cross Drilled Rotors, AC and Smog del, rear seat del. ![]() I'd go to www.crutchfield.com they are pretty good about what fits where. I put 6 1/2" in my doors with the help of Mr. Dremel, but I think 5 1/2" is standard. You may want to consider one of the component systems where the mid-range speaker goes in the door and the tweeter goes in the dash - this gives great detail & seperation. I have one from Infinity and it is awesome. And yes - 5x7 in the back.

![]() for 87-93 the factory sizes are 3 1/2 for the dash, 6 1/2 for the doors, and 5x7's in the rear. u can also check the specs yourself by looking at a crutchfield catolage or going ot their web site.

![]() The speaker sizes are 3.5" front, 5.25" doors, and 5x7 rear.
I recommend you get 3.5" front, 5.25" doors, and 6x8 rears. The 6x8's are made by several companies and are direct bolt ins to the Ford mounts. I got RF 3.5" front Pioneer 5 1/4" door speakers and 6x8's in the back. No custom work needed, and they fit behind the stock grilles. Keeps unwanted attention away, and good sound in. |
