Default Anyone Drove A Twin Turbo 5.0???

Well, I really want a turbo(or twin turbo) setup on my car, and was wondering how the power comes on?

Buddys 306 with a B cam can rev to the moon & back, but he doesnt have much from about idle to 3000.

I hope to get the TDC Stage 2 Twin Turbo Kit, and was wondering how the low end is on a turbo car?

I havent gotten to ride in one but my B/F has a buddy that owns a 89 Hatchback twin turbo 5.0L V-8 with NOS. Lets just say that only things left stock is the windows. LOL. It runs low 10's (like 10.2) on street tires.
I'll have to get pictures of it soon.

BTW the cars for sale for about $28,000

Rage, I have no clue what kinda boost to expect? i also have verry little info on the kit, but i do like the INCON Twin Turbo kit, but i herd they stopped making it.

If youy need any info on the incon kit, i have a magazine article that shows a 5.0 make 525rwhp with 14psi, gt-40 heads/intake, maf, injectors, 1.7rr.....

i definetly want a TT setup but i meed more money
the tdc kit is $4495 american wich is a hell of a lot canadian. They had on the tdc website a stock heads and intake 1990 5.0 with 450 rwhp. They didn't say the psi though. but i would imagine more then i would want to run

I was lucky enough to have driven this car at WFC 2001. This car has a turbo technology kit. While it looks a bit more extreme than a street car, it's actually driven on the weekends. Low end, twin turbo cars make a lot of torque, but its a lot smoother than say a blower car or nitrous. It's very difficult to describe... kinda like someone picks the car up and starts pulling it along. Very smooth...

it's not just the kit you have to think about.....internals will need to be modified. and you will need a stronger block for higher HP

thx for the advice pgkelley. I am not gonig to run more then 8-10psi so i should be alright on the block issue. I will rebuuild the motor with forged internals and the best i can afford.
