Speedo Gear calculator - Where is it?
My brother said he saw one on a site somewhere that has a calculator for figuring gear/tire/speedo gear size. Does anyone know where this is?
I got a 21 tooth for my 3.73's but it's registering 20% faster than what it is supposed to. It was a purple gear and the straight part that sticks into the tranny was too long and wouldn't let the gear snap all the way in so we cut it off. What gear am I supposed to have with a T5 and 3.73's in a 90LX 5.0? ------------------ Too much to list. If you search for a Post titled "Speedometer Gear" you will see a long thread on this. I am getting ready to do my gears too, and I am not sure whether to go with the 23 tooth (which tends to self-destruct) or change BOTH the Drive & Driven gears (which seems like a PITA). BOB |
