Speedo Gears for 3.73??
 

Well, my 3.73 31 spline 9" rear end is awesome. Pushing 2nd and 3rd from 1500RPM's leaves nice dual black marks. The problem is my speedo gears. Does anyone know the color code/teeth combination for 3.73's??? I hate doing 80 and reading 105.

just tell the dealer its for 3.73 and they will know the correct one.

I remember that chart when I changed my speedo gear for the 3.55 rear end I installed. I remember that the gear was white in color and had 23 teeth I believe. This chart showed the same gear for the 3.55 and 3.73 rear end. I had to go to a speed shop to get the gear since the dealer doesn't carry the 23 tooth speedo gear. I think to get the correct speed reading with anything shorter than a 3.55 required the internal speedo gear in the tranny to be changed as well.

I put the white gear in mine after my 3.73 swap as recommended and my speedo is 7 mph fast. It says 75 and Im really doing 68.
