Springs
1 Attachment(s)
Ok i want to lower my 95 Gt Conv. about 1.5 inches. Im looking into the Eibach kit and am wondering with that drop would i need caster camber plates?? Also would the stock shocks hold up fine with the springs. they are pretty new so i would kinda like to keep them for now. Also if anyone has these springs, how harsh is the ride. This is going to be a daily driver with very few trips to the track.
95 Mustang Gt Convertable, Auto, completly stock for now. |
Before I start I would like to say that this is my opinion
I'm assuming the 1.5" drop is the eibach pro kit All lowered cars benefit from caster/camber plates, you can probably get away without them but be prepared for accelerated tire wear, and also if you don't get them atleast get a good alignment after the drop. The ride shouldn't be too bad but I like a rough sporty ride (when I can afford to lower my car properly I think I'll get the 2" sportlines) If the roads in your area are **** you may want to reconsider but they should be fine. your shocks should be fine Conrad |
I speak from experience......we replaced 4 front tires in less than a year on Elisa's '94. The insides of the front's will wear out extremely prematurely (well, if you have 255's on the front).
The plates are worth every penny IMO. |
