Default Stage 1 Cam...legal? Good for a blower?

I am still trying to decide what cam to install in my car. I have sound clips of the Stage 1 cam, it sounds awesome!

Here are my questions:
1) Is this cam street legal, and will it pass emmissions?
2) Will it work well in a blown application? <-I think it will
3) Will it fit without cutting the pistons?

Here are my mods:

Intake (not sure yet)
Heads: AFR 165's
Rockers: 1.6 Rollers
NOVI 1000 6lbs
Full MAC exhaust with Cats

I just put the stage 1 in my car and I like it. I was told that the reason it doesn't have the emmissions legal certification is that it costs the mfr's money to get that certification and most of 'em don't want to spend it on a part they have no problem selling. I won't have to worry about it til next year, so I wont.

As far as working in a blown application I don't know for sure but I think it will. I think there is an issue with the valve overlap in blown applications.

I have no problems with the piston to valve clearance and I'm running the Edel. 6032's and tfs stage 1.

Good luck with your combo.

After MUCH deliberation, I decided on this cam for my application.

I am (currently) installing TFS TW stage-II, TFS Street Heat intake, and TFS Stage-I cam. All this is going on my S-trim Mustang.

Can hardly wait to get it altogether!!!

Darius, any idea if it would work well in my application?

People on the other boards seem to think I should only run a custom cam.

Custom cam... thats what they told me too.

For $139 from Summit, you can hardly go wrong (I got mine from the classifieds, new for $100 shipped). Yeah, maybe a custom cam will make a wee bit more power, but bang-for-buck I am sticking with what I got.
