Start up sputtering

Well I have been having this problem ever since i can remember. When i start the car cold or hot start the car seems to spudder until you can hear/feel a definate good feeling that the car has warmed up. It takes like 3-5 min every time. When i drive it without warming it up it miss-fires like it has no power. but when it is warmed up the power is flowing. I have a 306 port/polished,springs,valves heads, 4.10 gears, Tremec 3550 , holley systemax II upper/lower, bbk fuel pressure regulator, 190lph fuel pump less than a year old, cold air intake. If anyone can help please ... I would appreciate it

My car is basically stock so I'm not sure this will help. Whenever my car has any type of cough or hesitation at startup, I clean my mass air meter and idle air valve to cure it.

I guarantee you have a code stored in the EEC if it is doing what you say. It will probably be something along the lines of so and so actuator failed to open. Pull the battery cable and let it sit 10 minutes to clear the power to the KAM. While waiting, clean the idle and throttle body. When it happens again, pull the codes right away.

All you need is a voltmeter:
