I have one of those mini startes but (bout 8-9 inches long right?) I didn't buy it new. I actually got it with my car (no motor or tranny)along with the Cartech fuel system. I'm having A LOT of problems with mine. I really used it when I was getting the bugs out of my engine a month ago but now the tranny gets it hot and it's won't start the car. I even spent 20 bucks for a heat wrap from Summit. No luck. Starts great when it's cold though

I upgraded to one of the 92 up mini starters and it works great, sounds good to. Instead on cranking and cranking, I believe they are high torque starters cause mine fires right up when I tunr the key over.
