Angry Steeda timing adjuster problem

Well I installed yesterday and the "service engine soon" light came up. Then I noticed that it "bucks" a little.
My car does not have nitrous or a charger so I set it to the maximun which is 14.
How do I get rid of this problems 2..Am I supposed to see (feel) any difference.

99GT…rear sway bar (adjustable), rear lower control arm, traction bars, tokiko struts/shocks illumina 5 position, strut tower brace, caster camber plates, racing lower springs, 3:73, underdrive pulleys, Steeda timing adjuster, no silencer, no spare tire.
