I borrowed the oil pump rod thing to pre-lube the engine....

when I run the drill, no oil comes into the valve cover area....

HOW????

If you run the drill in reverse, you should have oil to all your rockers in a minute or so.

Yes, reverse and keep going. You will notice the drill begin to try to twist as the oil pressure builds and very soon afterward the oil will flow. THe pump turns CCW

Hmmmm? Something is definately wrong. I just used a socket and a long extension and it was pumping oil in a couple of turns.
