![]() well i have a '95 mustang and i bought some flowmaster mufflers from someone. i have been told by many places that they are the wrong type because they need to be an offset - offset to fit my car. i have an offset - center. now i dont see how they cant find a way to weld some other pieces on to make it fit. it really doesnt fit but just a little bit. if anyone has done this please help. i offered a nice reward to the mechanics and they still said no. but on the other hand, many people have said that it shouldnt be THAT much trouble to do. thanx a ton
btw im new to this board and i think i attached a picture of my car. not sure if thats the way to do it. thanx again |

![]() Yes they both need to be offset. Never tried installing a set that wasn't.

![]() I had the same flowmonsters on mine, and had the stock tailpipes hooked up to them at one time. It works fine, it did cause one pipe to be off a little. Hardly noticeable. It's totaly possible and not that big of a deal. later, -Chris.

![]() if all you want is the mufflers and not the whole catback exhaust i would sell the ones you have or return them and get the right ones that way later on down the road if you want or need to replace any other parts of your exhaust system it will not be an ordeal you will thank yourself later for doing it right now
