Default Intake Manifold ID

Anyone know how to identify different Ford intake manifolds? Any distinguishing characteristics? I noticed today, looking around under the hood, that right underneath the new Cobra upper manifold, it also has a new base intake manifold...or at least it's been cleaned and looks like it's been painted (a glossy gray/gunmetal color)...just curious now if it's stock or has been replaced as well, considering nothing about this motor seems quite right (feels like it's been rebuilt)... All I can say is it does have Ford stamped on it, up front by the water spout thing...and it's got some #'s on it. I'm taking photos tomorrow and I'll pull the numbers then..

It is more than likely a cobra lower as well. The stock intake(s) have runners in a straight line, while the cobra and gt40 intake runners are staggered.

The GT-40, Cobra and explorer lower are all pretty much identical.

I heard some flow numbers for both intakes. The gt-40 supposedly flows 400cfm, while the cobra flows 399. Thats right 399. Dont take these numbers to the bank, but I think this is what ive heard. Like stated before, they are pretty much identical.
