Who has done this by using standard doors and cutting off the frame??? Does the window work or will it need to be swapped for a t-top window?? Also where do you cut the frame??

I always wondered if that would work myself. I have an 82GT T-top and it looks like they just cut a standard door frame off at the factory. Vert doors will also work too.

	But yeah, I bet cutting the frame off would work. ------------------ '82 GT 351W C-4,BBK headers,Carter 625 carb,Comp.Cam,Flowmaster exhaust. 1988 GT...T-5,bone stock |

If I am not mistaken, that is how doors for convertibles are made. Although I kind of remember once reading that something inside the door had to be modified to allow the window to raise a little higher than it does in the frame.
