Engine Suggestions
My '67 coupe has a 302 engine and C4 tranny. I drive it to work a couple of days per week and use it on weekends. Not a show car but very nice. I have over the last 10 years been improving it - new paint, suspension, Scott Drake wheels, interior, rebuilt engine, etc. It currently has an Edelbrock intake and CFM500 Edelbrock carb. Headers of course. I am looking at beefing up the engine a bit and am thinking about Edelbrock Performer 302 heads with a Performer cam and lifters. I am told that I will need hardened pushrods and adjustable valvetrain. Looks like the cost for parts will be about $1800. Does this seem like a reasonable thing to do? Any better ideas? I don't drive it hard but I do enjoy toying with the rice burners now and then. E.

Re: Engine Suggestions
Elvis,
I believe you will be very happy with that purchase. It is a purchase I hope to make this winter myself. Ryan
