Question Radiator Overflow Container Question

I finally found an overflow container that will fit in the only small space I have by the radiator in my 68 hardtop. It's basically 2 inches in diameter, cylinder shaped, and about 17 inches long (chrome too, so it looks sharp). My question is, since it didn't come with any instructions, should I fill it to a certain level with my anti-freeze/water mix? Also, should I now fill the radiator completely to the top and do I need a different type of radiator cap or gasket for an overflow container? It has a 13 lb cap on it now with a pressure relief lever. Thanks.

Cool

as long as the cap has a vacuum break(nearly all of them do, it is a little brass valve that is spring loaded in the up position), then youare good to go on the cap. after you install the overflow can, fill it no more than 1/3 full, and 1/4 full would be better.
