Sub frame connectors, roll cage ?????

At what point of E.T. or horse power level is sub frame connectors and or a cage needed in a fox body. I know sub frame connectors should be used in any performance fox body. Can mid to low 12's with slicks twist up the body. I would like to do something with my 89 2.3 LX coupe, maybe a 351W or 5.0 and keep the interior stock with no roll cage. Thanks....

Sub-frames are benificial to even a stock mustang. I'd put them on ASAP.

According to the NHRA you need a 6 point roll bar to run 11.99 or faster in a hardtop and 13.99 or faster in a vert.

You need a 10 point roll cage to run 9.99 or faster.

I agree! get those sub-frame connectores on A.S.A.P!!!
And something to help in the torque box area too.;)
IHRA has upped the bar and cage rules this year too I think. You might want to look at that as well if needed.

Get subframes WELDED in before you start wrinkling your body panels!
