			 You can use the sprayon weld-thru coating.  Its under $10/can(?). 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
			I used that to coat them, looks like primer, yet you can weld thru it. Then when done, you paint them. Then if you really want, you can use the 3M undercoating stuff. In progress: ![]()
