Subframe connectors, full length vs. standard
I'm planning to buy subframe connectors for my '90lx. Is there a big difference between the full length type and the standard type. I know I want weld-in but for a strip/street car (heavy on the strip) will it be worth the extra labor to install full length. From what I've seen you need to cut the floor from the firewall to the torque boxes.
Also: What other things should I be looking for, double cross, X-brace... What manufacturer would you recomend? If it matters a little info about the car. '90lx hatch 4cyl. soon to have a 351W/C4 (carb) Desktop dyno says 450hp/425tq 8.8 swap w/3.73 gears Slicks on the track Basicly I want a race car with the minimum required to be street legal. Thanke for any help, Brian |
