![]() It happened about a month ago, I have been depressed every since. 40 seconds into trying to get the car to run with the turbo, I hydro-locked the engine with too much fuel and broke a piston. Considering I had just spent the last 4.5 months trying to get this turbo on, I was a little beside myself. I have another stock engine that we are preparing right now, but with winter looming, I dont think it will go till Spring. Hopefully by next winter, I will have the money to get a new D.S.S. engine.
Cause - Hydro-lock do to FMU installed backwards causing 90PSI fuel pressure. Lesson Learned - Dont try and start car if FP guage is reading 85PSI ![]() ![]()
