tunning my 5.o?
ok i have an 88 gt with f-cam,65mm thb, underdrives,shaved and ported heads (stock) and ported intake stock aswell
what would i do to tune it ? anyone have any ideas thanks |

well you mods are light so you should be able to tune it just like someone with a stock motor. Start with basics, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, maybe fiddle with the timing a little. I know with high octance gas and about 16 degrees of base timing mustangs can pick up a little pep. I had a stock speed density motor that love 93 and 16 degrees. If you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator you may be able to tweak fuel delivery but be very careful as you dont want to run too lean. My .02
