valid HP gains?
I recently saw in a "popular performance shop" catalog some "package deals" that listed various HP ratings. I would like to know how accurate they are;
Intake and TB = ~25hp Intake, TB, MAF = ~ 35hp Intake, TB, MAF, 1.7rr = ~45hp Intake, TB, MAF, 1.7rr, Heads = ~75hp all above + headers and cam = 100hp Keeping in mind this is for a bone stock engine. |

well look at the total package...
You would be installing heads, cam, intake, Throttlebody, MAF, and Injectors. You would also want some accesory items... Like a fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump. But The holley systemmax system should be good for about 325 flywheel horsepower with injectors, fuel pump, and regulator. I don't think the 1.7's are needed if your going to install a cam and heads, there are better pieces out there for 1.6's with aluminum heads |
