Default T-5 to C-4 question...few questions

I might be trading the C-4 from my '82 for a T-5 out of a 91GT.
Will we both be able to use the same driveshaft or will we have to trade them also?
Also, will that guy need to change the computer in his '91 for one from an automatic.

If I remember correct, I think I used the same drive shaft when I went to a 5 speed to the C-4 but I want to make sure.

One more question: Will he be able to still use his stock crossmember. ( told him he should be able to)

I can't help much, but I just wanted to point out that it is a bit confusing trying to figure out which tranny is going into what car.
You might need to clear that up for someone to help you.

the driveshaft will swap no problem

he does not need to change his computer. thier is a way to fake the computer in thinking it is a 5 speed. let me find out what that is and i will get back to you on that.

the crossmember i am not sure. i have heard people modifying the 5 speed one, but again not sure.

Let me try to clear this up a bit.

I might be swapping my C-4 tranny for his T-5 tranny.
First, I need to know if a T-5 driveshaft is the same length as a C-4 driveshaft.(if not, then I'll simply swap shafts also).

Will my C-4 tranny work with his T-5 crossmember without modification?

To sum it up: I'm putting the T-5 into my '82GT and he his putting the C-4 into his 91GT

Does that help?

i understood you the first time if your talking to me.

the crossmemeber should not be that big of a problem to modify if he has to. my buddy has a C4 in his 93 and i dont think he had to modify it that much.
