T-5 fluid?

Can I pour the fluid down where my Pro-5.0 bolts onto or do I have to pour it into that hard to get to 3/8ths square plug and keep putting my finger in the hole? (To check for fluid level)

Thanks Eh!:D

I heard of people saying they have poured it into the top, where the shifter bolts on, just invest in a little pump/syphon, and fill it up until it pours out (the upper plug), i just let the car down off the jack and let the excess fluid drain out, then wipe it off and put the plug back in....simple

Im guilty too, i've been known to try shortcuts, but end up causing more work for myself:rolleyes: if you have your shifter off already, i can see this being to your advantage, removing it will make you have to re RTV it and all that.

If you are just changing the fluid then doing it through the shifter hole would be just as hard.

But if you had the tranny out and are just installing it, and therefore you have to have the shifter off anyway, then it is the easier way to do it. This is the way that I did it the last time, and everything's fine
