As for what i know the only difference is the pilot shaft on the 4 cyl t5 being a bit smaller. This can be fixed my getting a small bushing for it. Other than that there probably are more differences but im not 100% sure what they are. I swapped out my SROD 4spd for a 4cyl T5 and it works perfect. i havent had a problem yet.
