Default O2

All 5.0L O2 sensors are the same. Just make sure it is the 3 wire version. New ones cost about $35 new.

Make sure you get two. Are you sure you need to replace them?

Default o2 sensors

reset the computer for 20 min. by disconnecting the neg. battery
cable. after 20 min. reinstall the neg. cable & drive the car as it will start to relearn fuel & timing curves. a full tune up wouldnt be a bad idea.

Don't buy the O2 sensors from Autozone, they don't offer a lifetime warrenty. Buy them from Advance Auto. Lifetime warrenty !

I've always heard you want to replace the oxygen sensors in pairs because you may have odd drivability problems if you don't. I'd personally buy either bosch or ford sensors (i think the ford replacement sensors are bosch). A bosch oxygen sensor for a 5.0L mustang i believe is just under $50 a piece.
