Tachometer Wiring Help
 
hey all,
Well I finaly got my 5sod in and my parents bought my a tach for my b-day with shift light...ok so heres the question: Which Wires and where do I locate the Negative on the coil and the ignition wire?.....

GREEN - COIL NEG
WHITE - DASH LIGHT
RED - 12V POWER
BLACK - GROUND (CHASSIS)
THAT IS THE WHOLE WIRING
DIAGRAHM. ANYTHING ELSE?

I'll point out because he forgot to. This is on a 93 4 banger, 8 plug motor with coil packs and no distributoir. Wiring still the same?????

OH THAT IS A HORSE OF A DIFFERENT COLOR
THE ONLY ONE THAT WILL BE DIFFERENT
WILL BE THE GREEN.
OK LISTEN UP BEHIND CLUSTER IN THE
MAIN PLUG THERE WILL BE A TAN &
YELLOW WIRE THAT IS YOUR TACH FEED
SPLICE INTO THAT ONE W/GREEN WIRE
FROM TACH. SORRY I DIDN'T CATCH THAT
BEFORE!!!!!!!!!

Dont forget the wires in back of the tach will need to be clipped in order to work with a 4cyl. Thew instructions will explain it.
