Post Got my truck back...OMG!

Well it's been a long time, and the project is finally almost over. I drove my truck for the first time with the new motor. Let me start by saying look at my sig. It's tubbed, roll cage etc...it has a 18.5 inch M/T's tires on the rear. Well I was taking it easy, and just gave it a little bit of gas, and it was like a top fuel dragster! It left huge tire marks, just roasted the tires. I was shocked! I knew the new motor would be strong but..OMG. I took it up to 5,900 once and there is NO doubt with some traction/slicks it'll lift the wheels 3ft+ at the strip. The motor guy, said the motor will turn 7,500rpm easy. So needless to say I'm pumped, taking it wednesday morning to get the exhaust put on. I was going to take some pics to post but the batterys in my digital camera went dead. That always happens when I actually want to take a pic of something important to me. Another thing is I cruised around for 15 minutes and the beast didn't get over 170! Ok, Ok, sorry I'll stop, I'm just sooooo excited.

Man that truck sounds like its gonna eat competition. I know my dad had an S-10 with a 350 that wasn't anything near the build you have and it would handle just about anything you put beside it, sounds like a beast man, good luck getting it to catch traction, also just a question, did you make your motor mounts or did ya buy them?

Well I bought them at first from a place in Florida(LHT)<---NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!, and they ended being the wrong mounts. The ones on there are solid motor mounts, and they are custom. The cool thing is, my motor sits about 5 inches lower in the truck, than any S-10 with a V8 in it I have ever seen, it's a perfect fit. I need to figure out how to post pics? Or maybe I'll post links to my website?
