Default Port matching or gasket matching ???

I'm about to make a sizeable purchase of mods I'm installing w/in the next few weeks (I love this time of year). One of the things I'll be doing is replacing the intake and head gaskets w/ fel-pros.........and replacing the intake and head bolts w/ ARP's.

I'm running Edelbrock Performer (aluminum) heads and TFS track heat upper/lower intake w/ the gaskets that Edelbrock and TFS sent w/ the parts.

Does Fel- pro make gaskets (intake and head) that'll match my ports, or will I have to port the heads and intake (eventually I will do this, but it's not in the las right now)? Which fel-pros should I use - copper, wire, or te regular ones?

Also, as far as the ARP bolts.....do they make the ones to fit my application too?

Thanks for your help on this!

I think that felpro makes a gasket for everthing. Stay away from the copper head gaskets (hardcore racing). If you use lockwire gaskets you will need to get the heads machined to accept them. I would use normal head gaskets with ARP head studs. Did you blow a head gasket, or are you just replacing them for the hell of it? Why replace it if it is fine?

I have a small coolant leak currently, but I'm also gonna be bottle feeding my baby next year (125-150 shot), so the gasket change is also extra preventative medicine!

Would you do head/instake studs and bolts, or would just doing the bolts be ok?

Drudis, that's an awesome combo you're running. I don't plan on o-ringing or porting, so I don't think the lock-wires will work, will they?

You need to O-ring the heads (like in the photo of the head) with a groove all around the combustion chamber to get the Loc-wire to sit in there and seal.
Porting doesnt have anything to do with it.
