![]() Now that I've hit the 13's I've decided I'm just not fast enough, of course. I've been looking at the AFR 165's and Trick Flow Intakes for my combination this winter but wondered if I will have any problems with the intake and heads matching up? I'm also going to add a 190lph fuel pump, Aeromotive FPR and 24lph (maybe 30's?) injectors and was wondering if I should go with the Street or Track Heat intake. I don't want to have to upgrade the intake if I add a power adder later (ie NOS or a Turbo). I'm planning to keep the car street legal, well mostly, and want to run low 12's on motor. Any thoughts guys? Thanks in advance.

![]() Use the AFR 165's,they flow more than enough out of the box to get your car into the 12's. The TrickFlow intakes use the same lower manifold, the upper plenums are the only difference. The Track Heat has a slight HP.advantage on the top end but gives up a little torque on the bottom end. Also with the intake/exhaust flow ratio of the AFR 165'
s I would recommend a single pattern camshaft for any N/A application.Go with the 24lb. injectors unless you are planing to go with a power adder soon then choose injectors according to HP. level. Have fun. [This message has been edited by 8950LX (edited 09-25-2001).] |
