Default testing intakes

I bought a stock intake off ebay. It is very very clean and looks great. I want to have it powder coated candy blue to go with my blue hoses, motorsport wires, and polished chrome upper intake.

My question is how can i be sure the intake is solid?? (no cracks, warpage, etc) before i send it in and have all the powdercoating done? Is there a good place that will do this to insure that this is a good intake before i proceed with the powder coating?
