Default How can I tell if....

How can I tell if a block has been bored for standard rings or chrome moly rings?
I have most of my engine torn down and noticed it was bored .030 at some point in the past. I don't know what type of rings it was bored for. Since I don't plan on boring it anymore I need to know how it was bored before.
How can I tell?
