They offer a track heat kit from summit. Its the same as you wanna get, just with the track heat intake. Are you talkign about piston/valve clearance? Twisted Wedge heads are supposed to clear the pistons just fine. Do the ones you wanna get have valve reliefs? I have a 347 stroker with twisted wedge heads, a stage 2 cam and 1.6R's and its fine. Of ourse I do run dished pistons though so there's no way in hell they eould ever hit.

If your just wondering whether its a good performance choice for your combo, yes. Most people I talk to love the stage 1. Very streetable, good idle and a good power range.
